REGIONAL SCOUTS

MIDLANDS / NORTH EAST / NORTH WEST / SCOTLAND

Swindon Town Football Club is recruiting committed Regional Scouts to identify promising players throughout these areas, you will become an important part of the club’s wider recruitment network.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend academy, EFL and non-league fixtures across the region
• Identify players who meet Swindon Town’s recruitment criteria
• Produce clear, accurate and timely scouting reports
• Conduct follow-up assessments of recommended players
• Communicate regularly with the club’s recruitment team
• Represent Swindon Town professionally and discreetly

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of football throughout the Midlands
• The ability to recognise both current ability and long-term potential
• Excellent observational and communication skills
• A reliable and well-organised approach
• Availability to attend evening and weekend fixtures
• Access to suitable transport and the ability to travel across the region
• Previous scouting or recruitment experience, although this is not essential

This is a voluntary/paid position, with expenses and remuneration details that can be discussed.
